  26. In order to install and run Claris Home Page 3.0,
  27. your computer will need to meet these minimum
  28. system requirements:
  29. - Mac OS compatible with 68020 processor or better
  30. - System 7.1 or better
  31. - 8 MB RAM Available
  32. - 5 MB minimum disk space (10 MB during installation

  37. The file named "Claris Home Page Installer" is a
  38. self-extracting, single file installer.  Double-Click on
  39. this file, and follow the on-screen instructions to
  40. complete installation.

  108. 4. Technical Notes and Tips
  109.  
  110. A.  QuickTime movies for Web pages
  111.  
  112. QuickTime Movies need to be flattened to play
  113. in web browsers. Use the movie player that came with
  114. QuickTime to flatten your files. If you don't see the
  115. term "flatten," choose "Save as cross platform,"
  116.  
  117. B.  FTP - Working With remote files
  118.  
  119. Under some conditions, you may need to change
  120. the FTP mode that Clarus Home Page uses to
  121. communicate with your service provider. If you
  122. experience Upload/Download failures of any kind,
  123. change the FTP Mode in the FTP Settings dialog box
  124. (choose either PASV or Active).

  126. C.  Resizing Movie Files
  127.  
  128. Movie files such as QuickTime VR panorama or
  129. AVI may insert very small under some conditions,
  130. and must be be resized manually.

  132. D.  Inserting AVI files
  133.  
  134. Insert .AVI files through the Insert Plugin
  135. menu item.  AVI files will not show in the
  136. Insert QuickTime movie dialog.
